Powered by a modern automatic production line, staffed by experienced engineers and skilled workers, applied with ISO22000 quality management system and supplied with carefully selected input materials by reputable vendors, Thanh Long Jessica launched many product lines with diverse designs and stable quality comparable to famous domestic and international brands. Its products, including oat biscuits, coconut sesame butter cookies, cracker biscuits, fruit sponge and super-thin potato chips, are well received and appreciated by consumers for their quality.
However, in addition to fierce competition from rivals, counterfeiting is painful trouble that affects the company’s development. Deputy Director Hai said: “Over the years, the company leadership has suffered a lot of headaches and spent much effort bringing violators to court. Nevertheless, due to policy loopholes, counterfeiting still exists in the marketplace. For this reason, to protect and develop our brand name, Thanh Long Jessica has to both improve product quality and conduct research on product diversification to meet consumers’ tastes.
Thanh Long Jessica’s products are distributed to 50 out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide and exported to Laos and Cambodia. In recent years, the company has increased its annual revenue to over VND60 billion. |
To effectively carry out business activities, Thanh Long Jessica always upholds its social responsibility; shows its responsibility to employees; and complies with environmental protection and occupational safety standards. At the same time, the company actively participates in social and philanthropic events launched by all-tier authorities and the Fatherland Front Committee for disadvantaged people in the society and needy people in remote areas. From 2017 to 2020, the company built three schools for pupils in disadvantaged areas: a kindergarten costing VND348 million in Lung Khau village, De Tham commune, Trang Dinh district; Pa O School costing VND330 million in Tran Yen commune, Bac Son district; and Bac Ai 2 School costing VND340 million in That Khe town, Trang Dinh district. Besides, the company funded VND60 million to build a house for single people in Van Lang district.
“2020 is a rough year, with the COVID-19 pandemic, natural disasters and floods. In April 2020, we supported the fight against COVID-19 pandemic at three border gates in Lang Son province with 300 boxes of biscuits worth VND75 million, donated VND550 million and relief to VFF Lang Son, presented VND2,000 boxes of biscuits worth VND500 million to VFF Hanoi. We also supported flood-affected people in the central region with 5,000 boxes of bread worth VND1.25 billion,” she said.
With its significant contributions to local economic and social development, the leadership and products of Thanh Long Jessica Co., Ltd were honorably awarded a lot of titles and awards from central and local authorities and agencies. The company’s products were certified high-quality products of Vietnam for many years by the Vietnamese High-Quality Goods Association. In particular, the company's Jessica biscuits had the honor of representing food companies from 11 Southeast Asian countries to receive the ASEAN BEST PRODUCT within the framework of the 16th Southeast Asian Food Conference on October 17, 2019 in Indonesia.
