The college proactively seeks investment from various sources, including government funding, domestic technology investment corporations, and foreign investment projects.
Besides, Ninh Thuan Vocational College pays attention to developing the teaching staff and considers it a valuable resource and property that decides training quality. The school currently has 90 full-time teachers. Every year, executive personnel and teachers are encouraged to attend training courses to improve their professional qualifications, vocational skills, pedagogical skills, foreign language and computer skills to meet teaching and scientific research requirements.
At the same time, to raise training quality, the college focuses on improving and adjusting training programs; compile innovative textbooks adapted to specific training majors to make sure that students are trained with necessary knowledge and skills to work after graduation. It also concentrates on vocational skills training associated with moral education, lifestyle, sense of discipline, soft skills, industrial style, foreign language proficiency and digital skills for learners.
In particular, closely following development needs and investment attraction orientations of the province, Ninh Thuan Vocational College has built and trained new occupations to meet social demands like mechatronics of German standards. Harmonizing education with employment opportunities
One of the remarkable training highlights at the college is the coordination with large firms in Ninh Thuan and other provinces to launch the ‘dual training’ model. Rector Quoc said: The collaboration between the educational institution and businesses is multifaceted. This includes the exchange of faculty members, joint efforts in the development of training programs, and the donation or exchange of educational equipment. Furthermore, the partnership extends to providing practical experiences and internships at partner businesses. A significant aspect of this collaboration is the signing of employment contracts with the college, a measure undertaken to guarantee employment opportunities for students upon graduation.
Currently, Ninh Thuan Vocational College has cooperative ties with over 80 businesses, including many reputable corporations like Hoa In Fashion, Lilama 18, Lilama 7, Ca Na Salt, Thong Thuan, Amanoi Ninh Thuan and Hoan My Resort Ninh Chu. These ties not only provide students with internships but, most importantly, offer job opportunities to them after graduation and meet recruitment needs of businesses. As a result, in recent years, over 85% of graduates have been employed.
Toward building a high-quality vocational training school
To promote the achieved results, in the coming time, Ninh Thuan Vocational College will continue to mobilize resources, upgrade facilities and foster and develop lecturers and executive personnel; update new technologies, speed up digital transformation in main activities, effectively conduct technological research and application in teaching and practice; continue to implement the ‘dual training’ model with businesses. Consequently, the college can supply human resources with expertise, modern working style and skills capable of meeting social needs and creating motivations for industrialization and modernization of Ninh Thuan province and the whole country.
At the same time, the college aims to become Vietnam's leading multi-disciplinary, multi-field vocational education institution by 2025 and specially become one of the six regional training centers of renewable energy for the country in the near term, he emphasized.
