The Department of Industry and Trade of Dong Nai province said the province's export turnover reached nearly US$9.7 billion in the first eight months this year, increasing 12.3 per cent year on year and setting a record in export value in the reviewed period.
The province had 22 key exports, the biggest being footwear, apparels, woodwork, machines and spare parts.
Besides, agricultural exports increased significantly from a year earlier. Cashew nut and black pepper export values climbed 43 per cent and 3 per cent, respectively.
