Hanwha Life Vietnam, in partnership with Child Fund (Korea) and Child Fund Vietnam, donates a new medical center in Lang Ngam commune, Ngan Son district, Bac Kan province, worth of US$100,000 (over VND2 billion) in order to partly improve health care condition and living standard for residents in remote areas.
This is the third health center that Hanwha Life Vietnam donated the northern mountainous provinces, where health care is still difficult for residents. Previously, the company presented the Medical Center to Bac Phong Commune, Hoa Binh Province (2015) and another medical center in Kim Truyen Commune, Kim Boi District, Hoa Binh Province (2016).
Attending the inauguration were representatives of Hanwha Life Company in Korea, Hanwha Life Vietnam, local government and people.
As an insurance, Hanwha Life values the importance of providing public health care and building facilities to meet the needs of people. Cooperating with Child Fund, the company is committed to improving the quality of life and creating lasting values for Bac Kan people. In the future, Hanwha Life will be involved in many community-based activities in other localities along the path of long-term attachment to the people and country of Vietnam.
More than 8 years of operation in Vietnam, Hanwha Life Vietnam has sponsored many community projects to carry out the mission of go along with the people of Vietnam to plan their future and make their dreams come true.
From 2014 to 2016, the poor in 14 provinces and cities across the country have received more than 27,260 health cards from Hanwha Life Vietnam, helping them reduce the burden of health care expenditures and providing a better treatment conditions.
In 2017, Hanwha Life Vietnam continues to cooperate with The HCMC Sponsoring Association for the Poor Patients, donated more than 9,500 health insurance cards, worth nearly VND2 billion to the poor living in Ho Chi Minh City, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Dac Nong, Kon Tum, Quang Tri and Ca Mau.
Education and future generation development are also recognized among the mission of Hanwha Life Vietnam, the company financed to build a new primary school in Xom Ong village, Nam Phong commune, Cao Phong district (2013), and Daycare Center A in Cuoi Ha commune, Kim Boi district (2014), both in Hoa Binh province.
Not only make a great contribution to health care and learning conditions improvement, Hanwha Life co-work with the Korean Cultural Exchange Organization to make the dream of a decent home come true for many poor households, with 133 houses in the Vietnam-Korea Friendship Village in 2013 - 2014 and 30 ‘houses of love’ delivered in the provinces of Khanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ca Mau, Ben Tre, Da Nang, Thanh Hoa and Dac lac in 2015-2016. The total support cost so far is estimated at over 22 billion.In recognition of the company’s valued contributions to the community, in December 2015, Hanwha Life Vietnam was honored with the “Social responsibility” award by the Korean Consulate, Vietnamese Ministry of Planning and Investment, and Korean Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy.
