Ba Ria - Vung Tau province attracted 64 projects with a combined registered capital of over US$1.7 billion into industrial parks from 2011 to 2015, said the province’s Department of Planning and Investment. Investors rented 275 ha of land.
Thus far, investors from 27 countries and territories were licensed to locate their projects in the province’s industrial zones, led by South Korea with 11 projects and US$2.3 billion, accounting for 27.6 per cent of total FDI capital.
Industrial parks in Ba Ria - Vung Tau are housing 264 effective investment projects, including 247 industrial projects, accounting for 93.56 per cent, and 17 service projects, accounting for 6.44 per cent.
