Optimism Grows on Investment Attraction into Ba Ria - Vung Tau IPs

The southern province of Ba Ria - Vung Tau currently has 14 industrial zones with 271 effective projects with a total investment value of US$13.28 billion. In the first two months of 2016, the province licensed four projects in its industrial zones with a combined investment capital of nearly VND519 billion and US$133.3 million.

 

In 2016, the province’s industrial zones are expected to draw 17 new investment projects with US$625 million, including seven FDI projects with US$600 million and 10 domestic projects with VND1,250 billion. These 17 projects are expected to provide jobs for more than 2,500 workers, bringing industrial zone workers in the province to more than 50,000 people.
